Our mission is to make creative play and the beauty of nature accessible to everyone. This goal is close to my heart. When I was 9, I spent an extended time at Starship Hospital in Auckland. While the doctors worked tirelessly to figure out what was wrong, I found joy in a simple moment, creating pipe cleaner bugs with my Dad as part of a Radio Lollipop craft competition. That small act of play brought comfort during a difficult time, and it’s a memory I still cherish.

We know that play is healing for children. Research shows that access to nature and green spaces not only reduces stress but can also speed up recovery and lessen the need for pain medication.
